David L. Bronson, MD, FACP, is associate professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University, Columbus, and chairman of the Division of Regional Medical Practice at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
A fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr Bronson maintains membership in the American Federation for Clinical Research, Society of General Internal Medicine, American Geriatrics Society, and the Section on Epidemiology and Prevention of the International Society and Federation of Cardiology, as well as other professional organizations. He serves on the Executive Committee/Governor's Advisory Committee of the American College of Physicians Ohio Chapter and the Medical Leadership Council of The Advisory Board, Washington, DC. Dr Bronson was the principal or co-principal investigator of numerous clinical studies.
Dr Bronson is associate editor of The Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine and a reviewer for many medical journals, including Archives of Internal Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, and Evidence Based Medicine. The author of more than 50 articles, book chapters, and abstracts on issues relating to hypertension, lipid disorders, and patient education, Dr Bronson received his medical degree from the University of Vermont, Burlington.
